International Bazaar Inc. announced a voluntary recall of single lot “Kroger Hazelnut Spread,” packed in Italy by Nutkao S.r.L. Consumers that have an allergy to peanuts may run the risk of allergic reaction if this product is contained.
The recalled products, which affect about 65 cases, have a “Sell By” date of March 2011 and UPC code: 11110-87825. They are packaged in a plastic jar, which contains 13 ounces of product.
The products were distributed to Kroger stores in as many as 16 states including: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
