Fox loves to give John Stossel a platform and every couple of months he uses it to distort reality with his repeated attacks on lawyers. This time it’s "TOO MANY LAWYERS" and an interview of a guy who’s book you can buy for $2.93. It’s amazing how Stossel ignores the reality of Rule 11, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and each state’s rules that punish silly cases.

He never talks about frivolous defenses. Why not a show on Deny, Delay, and Defend or the "independent medical examiners" that they pay to cut off people’s benefits? I guess it’s more fun to run a couple videos of people with goofy claims and act like that is really anything other than one sad person.

My friends here at Injuryboard have already been talking about this issue:

John Stossel attacking lawyers is not really a surprise. The thing is, he really is attacking the consumer and our system of government. He’s a shill for big business and the insurance companies. We need to keep calling him out for his unsupported and dishonest witch hunts.
