According to the Minnesota State Patrol there were over 60 major crashes reported yesterday.   There was a lot of ice on the road and very many going way to fast.

Along with the crashes there were a number of lessons :

1 When driving conditions are poor, drivers need to start early , give themselves time to get there, slow down , and make sure every one safe.

2 Move over and give police and emergency vehicles room.   It’s the law, to pull over for Ambulances ,  fire trucks , and emergency vehicles with lights.    It’s also the law to switch to a outer lane when police are on the side of the road.   Often, there are people outside their vehicle.   That didn’t happen and the police officer was hit.

3 Drive defensively.   Because , you never know what the other driver is doing.    Watch this video as a savvy bus driver reacts to a wrong lane semi.   ( I wonder how the Trucker’s that attack me all the time when we  advertise for trucking claims defend this one)

4. Get home safe    Everyone’s life depends on it.
