Saturday afternoon, a 81-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash north or Cook. in St. Louis County. She was a passenger in vehicle that crossed over the centerline of Hwy. 53 north of Cook and hit a northbound car head-on. The cause is still under investigation.
The woman has been identified as being from Romeoville, Illinois. Our sorrow goes out to the families and friends of those involved.
