August 3rd is one week from today. That is the time that remains to for Claims Against the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. It is clear that there are a lot of survivors out there that don’t want to come forward. Here are some things to know:
Minnesota Child Victims Act has allowed for survivors to finally come forward. There have been those who have used their name and others who have used the Doe identification to finally come out of the dark. To finally be heard and to face those who hid and transferred these pedophiles out of tragic situations. But, the time is running out.
The deadline is shorter than the rest of the state because of the bankruptcy of the Archdiocese.
If you or a loved one has a potential claim, it is time to act.
Nationally renowned priest abuse attorney Jeff Anderson’s website details instructions. There are a number of key points:
• You must file a claim by August 3rd.
• Your privacy and confidentiality can be protected.
• Filing your claim can help you and help protect children.
Please act now, because any further delay will result in loss of your right to make a claim
