There is a lot of road construction going on around the University of Minnesota, so they have come up with a safety program:

The plan is aimed at pedestrians, bicyclists, and auto drivers. The other parts of the program are advice for everyone:

Pedestrians

  • Look left, look right
  • Wait for "Walk"
  • Earbuds in? Don’t tune out.

Bicyclists

  • Watch for turning cars
  • Stay off sidewalks
  • Don’t run reds

Motorists

  • Watch for peds & bikers
  • Save lives, not seconds
  • Stay alert
  • Don’t text & drive

These are the things we are talking about all of the time here at the Injuryboard, I really hope the extra education keeps everyone safe.
