This book written by fellow Legal Examiner member Mark Bello ,  is a  compelling and interesting look at what happens in child sexual abuse  cases.  It is fictional, but captures what happens in real life cases.  He writes about and addresses many of the issues that surround these type of stories.

The book looks at the story of the mother as she struggles with the  communication between parents and children and how to protect them.  The story of the lawyer as he looks for financial gains  and the need to best serve the clients.  There is also the “Coalition” which is running everything behind the scenes.  It is about lives that have been damaged and the system that is available to get them justice.

The author’s wealth of experience give him the ability to provide a real story that is told well.  This book is well worth the time to read and gives the reader a lot to think about as we work to protect children from childhood sexual abuse.
