How many times do you come back from a trip or head off to the airport having hired an internet shuttle service and find yourself on what seems to be the ride for your life? The shuttle driver seems to be going way too fast, changing lanes too many times, and pushing it with almost every light. What can you do about that?

1. Assess how dangerous it is and, if necessary, say something. You are only going to ride on this shuttle bus once, so what do you really care if it is truly a safety concern?

2. If you do not reach the point of actually saying something, think about writing the company or going to the company’s website and making a comment so that other people do not have this experience. If you do make a complaint, make sure you get the information on the driver’s I.D. and if possible, the driver’s name, so that you ensure you get the right person in making your complaint.

3. Say nothing and accept what is going to happen. With all of these close calls, your dream vacation could end up being a nightmare.

It is all an issue of taking care of yourself and your loved ones, as well as taking care of those who are on the shuttle with you.
